Mentoring for people who discover they’re highly sensitive in mid-life
The decades of struggle and feeling different FINALLY make sense
I feel like it has hit me like a ton of bricks
I can’t just undo my life choices and I feel stuck
I’m overwhelmed and have no idea what to do first
No one understands how big this all feels and I wish I knew an HSP who’s been through it to get advice from
The big thoughts swirling around in your mind
You know this is potentially LIFE-CHANGING
You’ve woken up from a trance after living in survival mode and following a societal roadmap for how you were “supposed” to live for decades.
You know parts of your life aren’t working and need to change, but you have no idea where to start.
You crave living authentically, but some of the changes you’d need to make seem impossible. You have responsibilities and can’t just end your marriage, leave your job, stop caring for aging parents, etc.
There’s no guidebook to follow for discovering you’re highly sensitive at this age. But once you see your life through HSP-colored glasses, you can’t unsee it. But what to do first?
Get clear on what your sensory and emotional sensitivities are, and learn what to do when you’re triggered
Learn how to stop absorbing other people’s emotions
Reduce what drains you and increase what energizes you
Develop a sustainable daily self-care practice tailored to your unique sensitivities and life
Lean into the magic of being highly sensitive—discover your gifts and create a meaningful life in which you get to use them every day
You might never have experienced the feeling of being connected to yourself—yet. It is only from this place that you can evaluate where you’re not living authentically, listen to the voice saying what’s right for you, and make conscious choices about where you’re going.
It’s time to take off the mask and get CONNECTED to yourself
I’m an HSP, empath, INFJ, misophone, deep feeler, lifelong seeker, natural-born teacher, and have a deep connection to the woods. I believe everyone should be able to live to their highest potential.
My story will probably sound familiar. I learned at a young age that my sensitivity was something to be ashamed of, so I wore a mask to stay safe, buried my sensitivity, and banished my inner voice. For decades I followed a roadmap that had no regard for my sensitivity. I lived in noisy apartments in New York City, rode the subway every day to an open office for a “good” job I had no passion for… It was a hard life of chronic depression and sensory overload, but I accepted it as normal. I was in survival mode 24/7 and had no goals for my future.
I’m Deb, your HSP mentor and guide
Discovering I’m an HSP five years ago was a game changer. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to understanding my sensitivity, taking the mask off, and building a life roadmap to follow that puts my unique sensitivities at the forefront. I’ve made changes that once seemed impossible. I’ve accepted my sensitivity, love myself, and embrace my sensitive gifts. I am proof that it is never too late.
My mission is to use the wisdom I’ve gained through lived experience and my gifts of intuition and insight to help mid-life HSPs step into the driver’s seat of their lives, perhaps for the first time. In all honesty, it’s not easy. It’s very vulnerable to talk about our sensitivity and set boundaries with people in our lives because it forces us to reveal the part of ourselves we were shamed for. But I can tell you from personal experience that the joy and calm on the other side is beyond worth it.
I would be honored to support you in getting there.
